Plumbing courses provide the integral link between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Plumbers build their skills and knowledge over several years, firstly undertaking a school based apprenticeship whilst still undertaking high school, then obtaining an apprenticeship with an employer, followed by advanced Certificate IV subjects in Plumbing or Gas fitting.
Our courses give you a pathway towards a plumbing or gas fitting licence through education and collaboration with the industry. Career opportunities include: operating your own business, compliance officers, hydraulic consultants, site supervisor, or even a TAFE SA lecturer.
We also offer Certificate III in Water Operations
with specialised focus on job roles such as networks operator,
wastewater operator or water treatment operator. Pathways include
working in the Water and Wastewater Industry for major water utilities
across Australia or with councils running reuse schemes and wastewater
treatment processes. With training becoming increasingly more important,
water industry operators and managers need to have knowledge and
appropriate responsibility to adapt processes.
