Image for Professional Writing

Our Professional Writing program provides tuition in creative and non-fiction writing and editing with a focus on the marketplace. Students are encouraged to channel their writing into a range of publications, such as children’s books, short stories, TV and film scripts, novels, poetry, articles, biographies or focus on editing, corporate, technical or advertising copy.

Students are encouraged to enter writing competitions and have work published whilst studying, with many achieving success. Students gain the skills to run a writing business, work under contract or seek publication of original manuscripts.

Our Professional Writing program suits students with a passion for the written word, who want to take a disciplined approach to their writing, taking feedback from experienced and supportive instructors, while sharing ideas with other emerging writers.
