Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) - Basic

Description

This introductory course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to perform routine manual metal arc welds, and will take you through how to identify welding requirements from instructions, prepare materials and carry out routine welds. It's perfect for at-home DIY welders and qualified tradespeople. There are no prerequisites or assumed prior knowledge for this course.

Dress code: long shirt, long trousers and steel capped boots.

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.

This delivery is offered under State Government funding subsidies. Eligible students must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident, be 16 years of age or over and reside in an eligible regional location.


If ineligible for State Government funding subsidies or unable to commit to completing the full unit of competency the full course cost of $425 will apply
