Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) - Basic

Description

Calling all DIY welders and qualified tradespeople, this introductory course will provide you with the skills to competently prepare materials and carry out routine welds. Develop your understanding of gas metal arc welding processes and welding requirements. There are no prerequisites or assumed prior knowledge for this course.

Dress code: long shirt, long trousers and steel capped boots.

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.

This delivery is offered under State Government funding subsidies. Eligible students must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident, be 16 years of age or over and reside in an eligible regional location.


If ineligible for State Government funding subsidies or unable to commit to completing the full unit of competency the full course cost of $425 will apply
