Wellbeing and Resilience - The Next Steps

Description

This training will take participants further into the principles and practices of wellbeing and resilience, focusing in particular on the next steps in the PERMA framework – Meaning, Accomplishment, Optimism and Resilience. As with the ‘Introduction to Wellbeing and Resilience’ training, participants will again be encouraged to apply the learning – at home, at work, with clients and colleagues

Day 1 – Overview and review of the PERMA framework; core wellbeing skills related to accomplishment, optimism and resilience Learning by doing.
Between day 1 and day 2 - participants are encouraged to put into practice the skills learned during day 1.
Day 2 – Report-back; wellbeing skills continued, with a focus on meaning-making; next steps/where to from here.

It is a NOT a requirement to have completed the ‘Introduction to Wellbeing and Resilience’ course prior to attending ‘Wellbeing and Resilience – The Next Steps’. We welcome all.

This short course includes units from the accredited Course in Wellbeing and Resilience (10271NAT).

  • Introduction to wellbeing (WAAGP)

    Connecting to meaning (WAAGW)

    Develop accomplishment (WAAGX)

    Develop resilience and optimism (WAAGY)

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.
