Work in undertaken in contexts such as community based organisations, withdrawal services, residential rehabilitation services and outreach services under the guidance of other practitioners and professionals, with limited responsibility and within established parameters.

Qualifications & Skills Covered
Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs
Skills covered include assessing client needs, treatment plans, interventions, communication, diversity, legal and ethical requirements, mental health, networks, partnerships and first aid. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 12 core units and 5 elective units.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
