Persons providing a Business Activity Statement (BAS) service in Australia must be registered with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB). This qualification is designed to meet the TPB educational requirements for registration for persons providing a BAS service and the provision of advice and/or dealing with the commissioner on behalf of a taxpayer in relation to activity statements, or to work as a contract bookkeeper. A module-based holistic delivery approach with online delivery and assessment makes this program accessible to anyone seeking personal bookkeeping skills, BAS agent registration, or a career in accounting or bookkeeping. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 6 core units and 7 elective units.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
