Description

This course provides you with the skills and knowledge required to provide advice and practical assistance on the finishing and furnishing of existing interior spaces to meet client requirements. Decoration at this level includes residential or commercial environments and involves working directly with the client or with associated professionals such as architects, builders, retailers, interior designers and suppliers required to implement the project.

    Qualifications & Skills Covered

    Certificate IV in Interior Decoration (MSF40113)
    Skills include planning and arranging space, interior styling, specifying finishes and furnishings and selection of colours. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 8 core units and 11 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.

    Fees

    The TAFE SA qualification is subsidised through the Government of South Australia's WorkReady initiative. To access subsidised training through WorkReady, your suitability to complete the qualification will be assessed. This may include participation in a Language, Literacy and Numeracy pre-assessment.
