    Employment Outcomes

    This course is designed to allow graduates to gain employment as a beautician, make-up artist or make-up artist assistant in make-up outlets such as department stores, chemists and beauty salons. Certificate II in Retail Make-up and Skin Care is a pathway into Certificate III in Beauty Services.

    Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.

    Certificate II in Retail Make-up and Skin Care (SIB20110)
    This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are competent in communicating in the workplace, interacting with customers, demonstrating and selling make-up and retail skin care products and performing routine salon or store functions. 10 core units plus 5 electives.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.

    This course is subsidised through the Government of South Australia's WorkReady initiative. To access subsidised training through WorkReady, your suitability to complete the qualification will be assessed. This may include participation in a Language, Literacy and Numeracy pre-assessment.
