Student Wellbeing and Support Workshops

The student services and libraries teams are delivering a range of Student Welling being and Support workshops on topics such as wellbeing, healthy eating, overcoming boredom, managing your finances, SA job market updates, resumes and job applications, accessing online resources, and transitioning to online learning. 

To view the live schedule, and access recordings of these workshops, enrolled students can log into Learn and view the Learn Student Wellbeing page.

These workshops are being run online on TAFE SA LEARN. Instructions for joining a session can be found beneath the schedule below. There is no need to register in advance.

Wednesday 10 June 20206.00 pm Career Services: What makes you employable in the current job market.
This workshop will discuss the state of the current job market and assist you to understand how you can identify your own personal and unique set of employability skills which can transfer across varying jobs and career opportunities.
Wednesday 17 June 20206.00 pmCareer Services: Make your application stand out from the crowd.
This workshop will cover the three main components of applying for a job: your Resume, the Cover Letter, and addressing specific Selection Criteria.  All three of these things are important aspects of a job application, and knowing the difference, and what to include in each, can make the difference between whether or not you are invited to an interview.
  1. On the day of the session 15-30 minutes before session time, login to Learn using your TAFE SA single sign-on username and password and select ‘sign in’ 
  2. If prompted, click ‘Yes’ to confirm terms and conditions
  3. This will take you to the Student Wellbeing Course page, then click ‘enrol me’
  4. Click on today’s scheduled session 
  5. Click the ‘Join session’ button up to 15 minutes before the session is due to begin

Please also make sure we have your correct contact details. To do this, simply log into myTAFE SA, update your Personal Information, and then update your Emergency Contacts.
