TAFE SA's students, teachers and programs were in the spotlight at this year's SA Training Awards, hosted by the Training and Skills Commission and held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on September 6.

It was an outstanding night for TAFE SA students, with four receiving the top award from the five student categories. Gina Dal Santo was awarded the VET Teacher of the Year Award and our partnership with Datacom, Workskil and SYC was recognised with the Industry Collaboration Award.

TAFE SA's Chief Executive, David Coltman, was in attendance, and acknowledged the outstanding training and support provided by the lecturers of all the finalists.

"It was really inspiring to hear the students talk about their appreciation for the passion and dedication of their lecturers and the positive experiences they’ve had at TAFE SA," he said.

"It was also really pleasing to see two other award winners - Edward John Eyre High School in Whyalla and Vincent Painting Services – both mention their close links with TAFE SA."

The TAFE SA award winners listed below will now proceed to the Australian Training Awards in November.
