TAFE SA fares well with finalists in the 2018 SA Training Awards

Finalists for the 2018 South Australian Training Awards have been announced by the Training and Skills Commission, with TAFE SA having 14 finalists across the individual categories and two in the industry collaboration award.

TAFE SA students and graduates have been recognised across all five of the individual student-based categories, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander of the Year Award, Apprentice of the Year Award and Vocational Student of the Year Award where three out of four finalists trained at TAFE SA.

There are also two lecturers named as finalists in the VET Trainer or Teacher of the Year Award.

The SA Training Awards Presentation Dinner will be held on 7 September and will recognise the winners and finalists for their outstanding achievements and innovations in vocational education and training (VET).

The event attracts over 600 guests from the State’s VET sector, business and industry.
