SA Training Awards

TAFE SA has more individual finalists than last year, has partnered in one of the Industry Collaboration finalist nominations and is a finalist in the Large Training Provider of the Year category.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year Award

  • Veronica Presley - Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Electrician, trained by TAFE SA, employed by GM Holden 

Apprentice of the Year Award

  • Laura Pivovaroff - Certificate III in Jewellery Manufacture, trained by TAFE SA, employed by Wishart Jewellers
  • Walat Shergo - Certificate III Electrotechnology – Electrician, trained by TAFE SA, employed by Lai Switchboards

School-based Apprentice of the Year Award

  • Madison ter Bogt - Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, attends St Patrick’s Technical College, trained by TAFE SA, employed by Salty Pork Fino Seppeltsfield
  • Phoebe Brice - Certificate III in Individual Client Support, attends Gladstone High School, trained by TAFE SA, employed by Country Health South Australia 

Trainee of the Year Award

  • Justine Mules - Certificate lll in Civil Construction Plant Operations, trained by TAFE SA, employed by Adelaide City Council

Vocational Student of the Year Award

VET Trainer or Teacher of the Year Award

Industry Collaboration Award
