2023 Term 1 International Student Orientation

On January 24 and 25, TAFE SA welcomed over 150 international students from 35 countries commencing at TAFE SA in Term 1, 2023. The two-day program helps new students to familiarise themselves with study resources and local providers and to meet new people and friends.

Thanks to all of our presenters on Day 1, including UniSA, City west Health & Medical, South Australia Police, Bupa Australia, RAA, and Life Saving SA for their informative presentations and making our new group feel welcome.

On Day 2 our new students were thrilled to see nothing but blue skies for the bus tour to the Adelaide Hills, which made the view at the top of Mount Lofty extra special.

International Student Activity Day

On 10 January our international team hosted a beach sports and activities day at Glenelg Beach for our current international students in Adelaide over the summer break. Students joined in an array of activities such as beach volleyball, cricket, tennis, frisbee and swimming. After some fun in the sun with the beautiful beach weather, students also enjoyed a pizza lunch together.
