Video Auditions

Video Auditions are available for interstate applicants. Details will be emailed when you apply.

The video audition submission must contain 3 sections:

Section 1: A dramatic monologue from contemporary play, shot from chest to head (medium close-up) Section 2: A Shakespearan monologue or soliloquy framing whole of body;

Section 3: A brief chat to camera telling us something about yourself and your circumstances and why you’d like to study with us. (not more than 2 minutes)

Video tips: phone-camera quality is sufficient if used well; avoid back-lighting; try to use some natural light; shoot indoors to diminish ambient noise; don’t wear striped clothes, or other clothes that distract; wear minimal of no makeup.

Video submission date: Thursday 17 December 2020  Follow-up online discussion with applicants (by invitation) on Friday 18 December 2020. 

Late video submission date: Thursday 28 January 2021 Follow-up online discussion with applicants (by invitation) on Friday 29 January 2021.

Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts (Acting) (10560NAT) 

If you’re born to perform, then take to the stage with this qualification. The rigorous actor-training program incorporates the core disciplines of acting, voice and movement. This advanced diploma begins as a three-day a week commitment in the first year, then gradually increases in intensity, allowing for more flexibility in managing the commitments of study work-life balance. You’ll gain real-world experience working with Adelaide’s best directors, theatre-makers and teachers of acting for both stage and screen.
