Installation Procedures:
OHS control measures followed, Testing, Isolation requirements, Installation of system components, wiring termination in accordance with specifications, dealing with unexpected situations, quality checks, Adherence to sustainable practices.
Completion and Reporting:
All risk control measures completed, work site clean-up, final checks apparatus conformance, 'as-installed' apparatus & associated equipment documented & appropriately notified.
Description
This unit covers the installation, adjustment and set up of photovoltaic power systems and connecting to a supply grid inverter. It encompasses working safely and to installation standards, matching components with that specified for a given location, placing and securing system components accurately, making required circuit connections and documentation.
The skills and knowledge covered in this unit require a license to practice in the workplace subject to regulations for undertaking of electrical work
