Certificate IV in Programming
Software and applications programmers design, develop, test, maintain and document program code according to user requirements and system and technical specifications. This course provides you with the skills and knowledge in programming and software development. You will create software products to meet an initial project brief or customize existing software products to meet customer needs. The program has a focus on mobile application development for Windows mobile using C#, Android mobile using Java and iPhone/iPad using Objective C. Additionally, web application development is included in three key approaches: PHP/MySQL, Java and C#.NET (ASP). 10 core units plus 8 electives.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
