Employment Outcomes

This qualification covers workers who provide therapeutic and program related support to allied health professionals. Possible job titles include: Therapy assistant; Physiotherapy assistant; Speech pathology assistant; Occupational therapy assistant; and Allied health assistant.

Qualifications & Skills Covered

Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
4 core units: Contribute to organisational effectiveness in the health industry; Implement and monitor compliance with legal and ethical requirements; Contribute to OHS processes; Implement and monitor infection control policy and procedures; plus 11 elective units.

Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency within this Qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment.
