This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual
wishing to work in the hospitality industry as a:
- Bar attendant
- Food and beverage table attendant
- Bottle shop attendant
- Gaming attendant
- Responsible person (RSA)
- Cocktail and fancy mix drinks attendant
Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.
Qualifications & Skills Covered
Certificate III in Hospitality
Training in our hospitality courses will provide you with the knowledge and skills to work within the industry, locally, nationally and internationally. You will gain practical experience in the preparation and service of food and beverage in a range of service environment and styles including cafés, restaurants, hotels, clubs, functions and catering operations as well as the knowledge of working in a gaming area and up market cocktail lounges. 7 core units plus 8 electives.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
