- x Students wishing to access WorkReady funding will be required to undertake a reading, writing and numeracy assessment before enrolling.
- TAFE SA can recognise the skills (RPL) you already have. If you are working in the industry and have skills that can be recognised, TAFE SA will provide any additional training needed to gain a qualification.
- Students wishing to access WorkReady funding will be required to demonstrate satisfactory reading, writing and numeracy skills as part of course counselling before enrolling.

This course is designed for workers who provide a range of programs and services to individuals, groups of clients and employers. Skills are developed to support clients in planning their career or locating, securing and maintaining suitable employment.
Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.

Certificate IV in Career Development
This course is designed for people providing support to others in developing educational and career pathways and with job placement. Ideal candidates are teachers, student services officers, student counsellors, career development practitioners, employment consultants and human resource personnel. 13 core units plus 3 electives.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
This course is subsidised through the Government of South Australia's WorkReady initiative.
To access subsidised training through WorkReady, your suitability to complete the qualification will be assessed. This may include participation in a Language, Literacy and Numeracy pre-assessment.
