    Employment Outcomes

    Certificate courses in agriculture prepare graduates for a career in farming and pastoral work as a wool classer, wool technical officer, farm hand or agricultural assistant, shedhand or wool presser. Further study may lead to employment as a farm supervisor; assistant farm manager or field officer. These courses may also assist graduates to gain employment with stock agents involved in merchandising, livestock sales and machinery sales. Alternatively graduates may gain employment in agricultural research as technical officers.

    Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.

    Certificate III in Pork Production
    1 core unit: Contribute to OHS processes; plus 14 electives.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency within this Qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment.
