Employment Outcomes
There is increased public awareness of health and fitness issues leading to a growth in fitness club membership and personal training. Courses in this area cover anatomy and physiology, fitness programming and client service, fitness testing and personal training and use in new fitness equipment. Graduates may also develop an understanding of the Allied Health industry through exploring exercise rehabilitation for clients with specific requirements. Graduates would be able to seek work in leisure centres and health and fitness centres as personal trainers and fitness instructors, as well as specialised Personal Trainers and Fitness Centre Managers.

Certificate IV in Fitness
Work collaboratively with medical and allied health professionals, Apply motivational psychology to provide guidance on exercise behaviour and change to meet health and fitness goals, Undertake long term exercise programming, Undertake appraisals of functional movement, Apply exercise science principles to planning exercise. Plan and deliver exercise programs to support desired body composition outcomes, Plan and deliver personal training, Establish legal and risk management requirements of small business.
