Expected Employment Outcome Example

The Certificates in Women's Education are designed to provide women with the skills, knowledge and self-confidence to proceed to further education or employment and deal with career and life changes. Many of the students choosing these courses have been out of the workforce because of family responsibilities. Courses develop literacy and numeracy, computing, and self-development and work-related competencies. These Certificates provide excellent outcomes with many students going onto tertiary education, succeeding in their chosen career path and dealing effectively with life changes.

Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.

Fees

In July 2012 the South Australian Government will be introducing the Skills For All policy initiative. Skills For All may impact the eligibility and funding arrangements for government subsidised vocational education and training in South Australia. As a direct result of this initiative, TAFE SA will reassess all student fees prior to Semester 2, 2012. This may result in some student fees decreasing whilst others may increase.

TAFE SA will advise students of new fees as soon as they are available. Information on Skills For All is available at http://www.skills.sa.gov.au/.
