    Employment Outcomes

    This qualification applies to workers who deliver case management and case work intervention services to clients and who work under broad direction from senior managers.

    Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.

    Qualifications & Skills Covered

    Diploma of Community Services (Case Management)
    11 core units: Develop, facilitate and monitor all aspects of case management; Promote high quality case management; Use targeted communication skills to build relationships; Work within a relevant legal and ethical framework; Assess and provide services for clients with complex needs; Work intensively with clients; Support client self-management; Confirm client developmental status; Analyse client information for service planning and delivery; Facilitate links with other services; Reflect on and improve own professional practice; plus 5 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency within this Qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment.

    Credit Transfer
