Expected Employment Outcome Example

Graduates in the education course can assist teachers in the classroom and work with children from three to 15 years old (K-10). They can work in kindergarten, pre-primary, junior, middle or upper primary and in high schools. Employment may also be gained in indigenous, ethnic/multicultural or special needs schools and language intensive schools working one to one or with groups.

Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.

Award - SATAC application process

  • Applications for the 2012 Intake must be made through the centralised TAFE Admissions system via SATAC (South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre) by the advertised date.
  • Applicants can make one application for up to six course preferences.

Fees

In July 2012 the South Australian Government will be introducing the Skills For All policy initiative. Skills For All may impact the eligibility and funding arrangements for government subsidised vocational education and training in South Australia. As a direct result of this initiative, TAFE SA will reassess all student fees prior to Semester 2, 2012. This may result in some student fees decreasing whilst others may increase.
