    Employment Outcomes

    This qualification applies to community work delivered through a broad range of service which provide support to individuals and groups and is appropriate for support workers, case workers and client contact officers.

    Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.

    Certificate III in Community Services Work
    8 core units: Work within the administration protocols of the organisation; Work within a community development framework; Communicate appropriately with clients and colleagues; Provide first point of contact; Work effectively in the community sector; Participate in networks; Participate effectively in the work environment; Follow safety procedures for direct care work OR Contribute to OHS processes; plus 5 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency within this Qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment.
