Employment Outcomes

Graduates of this course may gain employment as a laboratory technician in wine laboratories. Skills gained from this course are also transferable to laboratory technician roles in other industries such as the pathology, environmental and biotechnology sector.

Certificate III in Laboratory Skills (Specialising in Wine Testing) (MSL30109)
This course has been designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to work in the laboratory sector, with a particular focus on the methodologies used in the wine laboratory industry. Highlights of the course include familiarisation with common laboratory techniques and a practical focus on wine chemistry and wine microbiological testing.

Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
