Qualifications & Skills Covered

Certificate III in Scenery and Set Construction
4 core units: Work effectively in the screen and media industries; carry out measurements and calculations; use hand tools; participate in OHS processes; plus 6 specialist units and 2 elective units.

Certificate IV in Scenery and Set Construction
4 core units: source and apply entertainment industry knowledge; monitor a safe workplace; coordinate production operations; promote team effectiveness: plus 10 elective units.

Diploma of Scenery and Set Construction
6 core units: Work effectively in the screen and media industries OR Source and apply entertainment industry knowledge; Manage risk; Ensure team effectiveness; Ensure a safe workplace; Coordinate production operations; Establish and manage production requirements and resources; plus 14 elective units.

Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency within this Qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment.
