    • The Film & TV Stream and the Computer Generated Imaging & Visual Effects Stream will be taught at the Adelaide City Arts (AC Arts) Campus whilst the Game Art Stream will be taught at Tea Tree Gully Campus.

    Course Admission Requirements (for International Applications)

    • Academic IELTS score of 5.5 Overall with minimum of 5.0 in all bands or equivalent.
    • Successful completion of the one year Diploma of Screen and Media in the same design field.

    Course Notes

    • Students interested in the Screen & Media course will have the option of choosing 1 of 2 streams:Computer Generated Imaging & Visual Effects (CGI & VFX) or Game Art stream.
    • Students would typically complete a package of courses, made up of the Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media (2 semesters) and the Diploma of Screen and Media (2 semesters) for a total duration of 2 academic years (4 semesters). The cost of this package of courses is $27000. Students will receive a COE and a parchment for each of the courses within the package.
    • The Computer Generated Imaging & Visual Effects (CGI&VE) Stream will be taught at the Adelaide City Arts (AC Arts) Campus. In Semester 1, 2017 the Game Art Stream will be taught at Tea Tree Gully Campus, and move (pending facility upgrade) to AC Arts for Semester 2, 2017 commencement.

    International Course - application process

    If you are applying from onshore, generally, you will need to apply for an international course to TAFE South Australia at least two months before you want to start your studies in Australia. If you are applying from offshore it is highly recommended that you apply at least four months in advance.

    Employment Outcomes

    Courses in this area cover the production and creation of media content for consumers. Graduates will be prepared for work in a range of areas including the film and television sectors, video production and facility houses, special effects companies, game production studios, and mobile phone content development.
