    Selection criteria is only used when there are more applicants for the course than places available. Applicants will be ranked in the following order:

    1. CSPA score

    Uni Dual Offer Course

    • You will receive an offer to both TAFE SA and University, with the University offer being conditional on successful completion of the TAFE SA qualification.
    • You can rest assured you have secured your University offer, pending successful completion of the TAFE SA award.
    • No further application will be required.
    • You will receive credit for TAFE SA studies allowing you to complete two awards dependant on the pathway selected.
    • If accepted, you will receive an offer to TAFE SA and-on successful completion of the TAFE SA qualification-an offer to University with no further application required.

    Course Notes & Special Requirements

    • Please note that fees listed apply to the Diploma of Travel and Tourism only. Please check the Certificate III in Tourism course page for fees and the University website for Bachelor fees.
    • Applicants with limited or no underpinning knowledge and skills will commence at a lower level and fees will apply.

    Qualifications & Skills Covered

    Certificate III in Tourism (SIT30112)
    This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in a range of well-developed tourism sales, operational and tour delivery skills. 4 core units plus 11 electives.

    Diploma of Travel and Tourism (SIT50112)
    This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in a broad range of highly developed technical tourism sales and marketing, operational, or tour delivery skills. They will be in a position to provide leadership and guidance to others with small responsibility for the output of others. They will be an integral part of the team that drives the tourism business and operation. 10 core units plus 7 electives.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
