Health support services workers provide support for the effective functioning of services in the health services industry including hospitals, health centres and private practice. Job roles may include: Administrative support; Health services clerk; Administration clerk; or Receptionist.
Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.
Certificate II Program in Health Support Services (Health Administration)
This qualification covers topics including understanding the role and responsibility of administrative support; developing and refine customer service skills; working with patients and other health care workers; processing and maintain workplace information; and communicating with people from diverse backgrounds. 4 core units plus 8 electives.
