2x If you are working in the industry in Australia or overseas and have skills that can be recognised, TAFE SA will provide any additional training needed to gain a qualification. Your RPL assessment will be undertaken once you have gained admission to the program. Attendance at the campus will be required to complete the qualification
+x Students wishing to access WorkReady funding or VET Fee Help will be required to undertake a reading, writing and numeracy assessment before enrolling.
The duration of a workplace course is determined by the study plan.

Employment Outcomes

This qualification will help progress your career as a dental hygienist by teaching you advanced techniques. You will learn about contemporary dental hygiene practice to develop your skills to work in the private or government sector. On successful completion of the Advanced Diploma of Oral Health (Dental Hygiene) graduates will have completed the education and training in contemporary dental hygiene practice, enabling them to work in both private and government sectors in accordance with the legislative provisions.

Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.
