Brooke Stringer enrolled in a TAFE SA Events course, while studying her SACE, as she was interested in pursuing either Tourism or Events as a career path. Brooke also chose this course because of the many fun and interesting components it included.

“I chose to study at TAFE SA as is enabled me to gain a certificate whilst still being at school. This enabled me to join the workforce without having an extra year of study after school.”

By attending TAFE classes once a week Brooke was able to complete her school work at the same time.

“My teachers and lecturers were very understanding of my time restraints and were able to help me through. I enjoyed meeting new people in a relaxed adult learning environment.”

“I enjoyed going out into the community and doing practical activities. I have developed my communication skills and gained confidence in dealing with a wide range of people. I would highly recommend this course which enabled me to gain employment in the Events industry.”
