Hairdressing and beauty therapists take first step to a career

WhiteTopKnotTAFE SA is the largest provider of hair and beauty training in the South Australia and offering courses to budding hairdressers and beauty therapists to take their first step to a career.

Starting in Semester 2 are the Certificate II in Hairdressing and the Certificate II in Retail Makeup and Skin Care are fee-free to jobseekers (until 31st  July) funded through the Government of South Australia’s WorkReady initiative (Eligibility criteria apply. Incidental fees apply).

Hair and Beauty Educational Manager Merrill Gratton stated the courses are a first step to gain an apprenticeship or traineeship in the industry.

‘The personal services industry such as hairdressing and beauty therapy employs hairdressing apprentices and beauty trainees to support their business,’ she said.

Apply for the Certificate II in Hairdressing or Certificate II in Retail Makeup and Skin Care by 31 July.
