Online learning adds up

Mar 19, 2012

A number of accounting courses are some of the latest to be offered online by TAFE SA.

Online study can be useful for anyone with a busy or unusual schedule. As there are no set lecture or tutorial times, students can complete work at a time that suits them. All students need is a computer and an internet connection.

Also, with many TAFE SA courses being Government subsidised, TAFESA online offers courses at a competitive rate. Online learning reduces the cost since many paper-based resources are no longer required.

TAFESA online learning has several study sessions each year, so it's easy for students to fit study into a busy schedule or fast track studies.

Online study is ideal for people who work fulltime, who are parents or carers, or who live a long way from their nearest campus.

TAFESA online is a significant part of the Department of Further Education Employment Science and Technology (DFEEST), and plays a major role in the development of South Australia’s workforce and community. Courses completed through TAFE SA online are recognised in the workforce and by other established educational institutions.

New courses available online include the following accounting and finance awards.

  • Certificate II in Financial Services FNS20110
  • Certificate III in Accounts Admin FNS30310
  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping FNS40211
  • Certificate IV in Accounting FNS40610
