| TAFE SA won three awards at the 2011 Australian Training Awards held in Brisbane recently. | Large Training Provider of the Year TAFE SA Regional won the award for Australian Large Training Provider of
the Year. The
award recognises the substantial transformation that has occurred in
TAFE SA Regional over recent years. This includes the Institute building
strong industry links, embracing the use of e-learning and flexible
delivery and its commitment to delivery in high quality education
outcomes for students from all walks of life in regional and remote
communities across South Australia. |
| Vocational Student of the Year Vanessa
Corbell who studied a Certificate III in Floristry at TAFE SA Adelaide
North Institute was awarded the prize of best Vocational Student of the
Year. | Small Employer of the Year Award Murray
Bridge Veterinary Clinic was awarded best Small Employer of the Year
for offering high quality veterinary services and its commitment to
training. TAFE SA Adelaide North Institute at Gilles Plains was the
training provider. | VET Teacher of the Year Award Dr Lewis Vaughan at TAFE SA Adelaide North Institute won the Silver Prize as runner up for best VET Teacher in Australia. |

Nikielski won runner up in this category – completing Year 12 as well
as Certificate III in Electrotechnology at St Patrick’s College, his

Institute. This award highlights a great partnership between a
