Staff Profile: Danielle Misell
Danielle coordinates the Certificate IV in Legal Services, the Diploma of Legal Services and the Aboriginal Law Studies Program. She was admitted as a Practitioner of the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2000 and worked primarily as a Legal Officer specialising in Criminal Law Practice until 2010. Danielle has experience working as a Solicitor in private legal practice as well as for the Legal Services Commission of South Australia (‘LSC’) and the Attorney-General’s Department. Danielle coordinated the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities Program (New Migrant Program) for LSC and completed an extensive rewrite of the LSC’s Duty Solicitor Practice Manual (now an online resource). She is currently a research higher degree student at Flinders University and is sub-editor of the Flinders Law Journal. Her specialist areas of legal knowledge include legal practice, compliance, communication, criminal and evidence law.
