International Student Events

Register with Study Adelaide to find out about their student events. Many events are free or at low cost. Taking part is a great way to make friends, find new interests and get familiar with Adelaide.

Upcoming Events include:

Free tour of Adelaide Zoo

Date: Wednesday, 20th June
Time: 1.30pm - 3.30pm
Place: Adelaide Zoo

Meet Study Adelaide International Student Ambassador Bruce Smith outside the entrance of Adelaide Zoo at 1.30pm to receive your free admission to the zoo as a group.

The guided group tours will begin at 2pm. Meet the tour guides just inside the entrance. The tour will run for 90 minutes and will include a visit to the Giant Pandas.

Places are limited so make sure you register with Study Adelaide.

Sport Bites- try a sport for free

Interested in taking up a sport but not sure where to start? Come to Sport Bites to try out sports and connect with a local club for FREE!

Date: Thursday, 21 June
Time: 12pm - 4pm
Place: Victoria Park (in front of the Grandstand)

Try out sports including; soccer, lacrosse, rowing, volleyball, basketball, tennis and Aussie Rules football. Find out more from Study Adelaide.

Free Careers Seminar

Study Adelaide will be hosting a free information session for international students on 29th June at 55 Currie Street.

Attend the session to:

  • Find out more about how to find and apply for work in South Australia.
  • Learn about workplace culture in Australia and the importance of volunteering.
  • Hear from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) about the latest changes to the visa processing system and what it means for you.
  • Take part in a networking session following the seminar.

Date: Friday, 29th June
Time: 1.45pm for a 2pm start.
Venue: 55 Currie Street, Adelaide

(Information session will run until 4pm, with a networking session from 4pm - 4.30pm)

This FREE seminar is designed to help students in their final year of study find work in South Australia.
