Orientation for International students

Jan 20, 2012

If you are starting your studies with TAFE South Australia International in 2012, our Orientation sessions are a great way to find your feet!

At Orientation you'll be shown around campus, get your student ID card, meet your lecturers and make friends. You’ll also receive important information about your enrolment, class timetables and your visa obligations.

All students are expected to attend the compulsory Orientation program and it’s a terrific way to find out more about living and studying in Adelaide. There’ll be social events too with free food and a bus tour of Adelaide to get you into the swing of student life.

There’ll be group tours of Adelaide and familiarisation sessions run by our International Student Ambassador team and international students and this is a great chance to connect with people and ask all the questions that we’re sure you’ll have.

Where: Lecture Theatre (Room N120)
Level 2, TAFE Adelaide City Campus, 120 Currie Street, Adelaide, South Australia.

When: Wednesday 25th January and Friday 27th January 2012

Begins: 8:30 am on both days, come to the International Office on level 2 of the Adelaide City campus, 120 Currie Street.

There are some documents that you will need to bring to Orientation including your passport. If you have been given an E-visa, please bring this letter. If you already have a membership card for your Overseas Student Health Cover, please bring this too.

Semester  1 officially begins on 30 January 2012 but you may need to check with the TAFE South Australia International staff at Orientation for the exact start date of your course.
