TAFE SA has released its short course schedule for March to June in Mount Gambier and Naracoorte, with a variety of courses available to the general public, from iPhone and iPad for Beginners to Professional Restaurant skills.
Many of the short courses are of only one day duration or less, perfect for anyone looking to learn a new skill quickly.
Tania Plunkett, TAFE SA Regional Manager, said the variety of courses on offer means there’s something to suit everyone.
“The campus and neighbouring host venues will offer a suite of licensing/accreditation courses on various subjects such as Child Safe Environment well as short courses in Basic IT skills, and Introductory Counselling Skills, with many more to come in future months,” said Tania.
Ms Plunkett also commented on the expansion of TAFE SA’s offerings in the region.
“TAFE SA is looking at ways we can work within the community to deliver training that the community needs most. This includes on-site training and making use of common spaces like community halls to deliver training, to ensure we are accessible to as many people as possible, and not just those who live near a campus,” said Tania.
