Rejuvenating the mind, body and soul of her clients motivate Zoe Dick in her traineeship and towards completion of a Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy.
Zoe completed the Certificate III in Beauty Services ahead of schedule and is now undertaking the higher level qualification to build on her skills, as well professional development in product-based training courses.
Having demonstrated her commitment and motivation during salon work experience, the salon owner was convinced Zoe would add value to her business and offered her a traineeship. Clients already see her as a fully qualified beauty therapist.
Through her traineeship, Zoe has gained knowledge of new developments and trends coming into the beauty industry and vocational training system and enjoys putting them into practice.
Zoe’s employer reports that Zoe has worked very hard to achieve the position of higher level beauty therapist, is an excellent team member, constantly goes beyond the call of duty in the salon, and displays excellent managerial skills. She now has a regular client base who specifically ask for her because of the very high standard of her treatments and her friendly manner.
Zoe has a great passion for the small regional community of Waikerie where she lives and works, and is a great believer in community spirit and buying local to support businesses. She is a strong advocate for a traineeship and apprenticeship system which allows students to learn on the job while being paid, and keeps school leavers within the local community as they are the future for the region.
In her spare time Zoe enjoys water-skiing and wakeboarding on the River Murray during the summer months, and snowboarding in Victoria during winter. As a proud supporter of the local football club, Zoe also volunteers her time with fundraising activities whenever she can.
