Specialist Facilities

  • Light Square Gallery – a purpose-built exhibition space for visual arts
  • Specialised studios for ceramics, drawing, jewellery, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, game art, CGI and visual effects
  • Two theatres, green room, control room, wardrobe maintenance room, suite of production offices, lighting studio, design studios, set construction, props manufacture and scenic art workshops, costume manufacture workrooms
  • Industry-standard digital production equipment including cameras, lights and sound-recording gear and accessories, a portable television studio with video and audio mixing, and a sound recording studio and mixing facilities. Editing suites with industry-standard software suited to film and television pre- and post-production

Library

Library facilities are provided through the Adelaide campus. There is also an online TAFE SA Library.

Childcare

The City West Child Care Centre is close to the Adelaide College of the Arts.

Parking

There are several parking options close to the campus.

  • A paid parking station is located across Light Square, beneath the Adelaide City campus. Access is via Morphett Street
  • Public, open-air car parking is available on the western side of Light Square, and between Hindley and Philip Streets, north of the Adelaide College of the Arts
  • Street parking is also available on Light Square and in neighbourhood streets west of Morphett Street for up to two hours

Instructional videos are provided for students to familiarise themselves with emergency procedures.
