A TAFE SA Simulated Business exposes participants to real-life organisational operations. This allows students to successfully learn the business, technical and interpersonal skills used in any organisation. Our Simulated Business environment develops work-ready skills and provides students with valuable, highly sought workplace experience.
Our Simulated Business environment utilises a virtual economy where our member organisations operate and trade with each other online. Students experience what it is like to work in various business functions from administration to sales and marketing, finance, and even purchasing.
Our Simulated Business learning environment focusses on developing communication, problem solving, team building, and time management, as well as planning skills. Modelled on the workplaces of our real-world industry mentors and current industry practice ensures students develop the skills employers want. Some of our Simulated Business industry mentors include: Ikea, LJ Hooker Real Estate, and Regional Development Australia (RDA).
