Understanding and applying good business practice is the foundation for any successful business, and these are highly sought after skills by many organisations.
We offer accredited courses from Certificate I to Diploma level in Business and Business Administration. These programs provide students with administrative and support skills, as well as the knowledge required to work in a wide range of business environments, and across a variety of different areas within an organisation.
The Business and Business Administration programs help you to develop workplace ready and digital technology skills needed to use a variety of software applications, including Microsoft Office, and keyboarding. These skills are highly sought after and can be applied across a range of situations. Coupled with a focus on developing skills which allow students to work autonomously, students also learn how to be an effective team member. Our programs help students develop written and verbal communication skills, together with effective organisational skills needed to work in a modern business environment.
We also offer options to study business finance in the areas of accounts receivable/payable and payroll using MYOB. Our higher level Business and Business Administration programs provide the leadership skills necessary for supervisory and managerial roles.
Legal practices offer interesting and varied administrative job roles. We offer a Certificate III in Business Administration (Legal) which specialises in legal industry requirements. Students learn the general legal business administration and communication skills needed to support the effective functioning of any legal firm. A course in legal administration also provides students with an understanding of the legal system, while developing their knowledge of legal terminology, and ability to use and maintain legal records, as well as an understanding of confidentiality and security within the legal environment.
Educational institutions offer stimulating and diverse administrative job roles. We offer a Certificate III in Business Administration (Education) which specialises in industry requirements for the education sector. Students learn business administration and communication skills to support the effective functioning of any education provider. A course in education administration provides students with support skills in WHS processes and emergency prevention, organising meetings and business travel, as well as conflict management strategies.
Our Business and Business Administration courses also offer specialisation in health administration. More information on Health Administration.
