We offer Certificate IV and Diploma level study in the areas of banking and banking service management. These courses are designed to prepare students for employment requiring financial products and services knowledge in banking and retail financial services environments.


We offer Certificate IV and Diploma level study in financial planning and practical support.  These qualifications are for financial planners who provide a range of standard financial planning services and specialist para-planning services. The Diploma in Financial Planning (full qualification) meets Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) requirements for Tier 1 status.

Employment Opportunities

Students can opt to study finance at certificate IV level, which equips them with skills to act as support staff to financial planners and para-planners, or to undertake the diploma to qualify as financial planners or para-planners themselves. The units cover the ASIC Tier 1 and Tier 2 requirements regarding financial products advice. Roles within financial planning include giving advice on financial products including life insurance, superannuation and other financial investment instruments.
