Productivity Places

Productivity Places Program

As part of its Skilling Australia for the Future initiative, the government recognises the importance of nationally endorsed training in assisting job seekers to acquire skills and gain lasting employment.

The Productivity Places Program (PPP) is part of the Australian Government’s Skilling Australia for the Future initiative. The program will provide additional training opportunities to assist Australian workers and job seekers to develop the skills they need to be effective participants and contributors to the modern workforce. The training places will be delivered in response to skills and occupations demand identified by industry.

The programs are administered by the South Australian Government by Department of Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology (DFEEST).

Productivity Places for Job Seekers Program

PPP for Job Seekers will provide opportunities for job seekers to raise their skill levels and gain recognised qualifications. The new training places will lead to nationally endorsed qualifications at a Certificate II level to Diploma level.

Individuals will be able to access funded training through organisations approved under the program. No referral forms are required from the Job Services Australia provider (JSA) for the training providers under the DFEEST Productivity Places Program for Job Seekers.
