Lecturer Design

Kerryanne comes from industry recognised training from both ABC Television (Sydney) and Opera Australia (Sydney) encompassing all aspects of Design, Scenic Art, Props and Model making, specialising in technical drafting and construction design.
Her model making excellence earned her the position of “Concept Model Maker” for ‘STAR WARS’ episode II (Attack of the Clones) at Fox Studios.

Kerryanne’s expertise with scenery construction knowledge is highly regarded in the Industry and was appointed the position, Head of Design for Opera Australia for over ten years before relocating to Adelaide in 2005. She joined the Adelaide Festival Scenery Workshop as associate designer and construction CAD designer for large musicals such as, "Billy Elliot", "Wicked", "Love never dies", "Strictly Ballroom" and the new musical "Once".

Over 30 yrs experience in technical design associated work, gave her various roles on "The Phantom of the Opera" Australian Tour, “Les Miserables”, and "Miss Saigon". Freelance work for Andrew Lloyd Webbers RUC Asia Pacific, lead her to New York as Associate Designer for "Sunset Boulevard" and Korea for redesigning "Cats" from Tent to Tour.

Kerryanne has worked extensively with world renowned designers from Australia, England, America, Germany and Italy, having worked intimately with some of the world’s most renowned directors-designer teams - Baz Luhrmann / Catherine Martin, Philip Noyce/Roger Ford, Jim Sharman/Brian Thomson. This experience has afforded a unique and broad insight into the creative and technical demands of current design practice at a peak international level. She brings to her position as design lecturer with AC Arts, a solid technical grounding to design pedagogy.
