Staff Profile: Jeanne Hurrell
Lecturer in Sound and Technical Management
Jeanne Hurrell has more than 30 years of professional experience in technical production for live performances with audio as her speciality. Major past employers include the Adelaide Festival of Arts, Fringe Festival, Adelaide Festival Centre and the Adelaide Convention Centre. Jeanne has designed, installed and operated sound systems for companies such as State Theatre, State Opera, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and Vitalstatistix. Her work has seen her tour Australia for the Adelaide Festival Centre Trust, Gordon Frost Organisation and Nimrod Theatre, and has taken her to arts festivals in Europe including those in Edinburgh and Spoleto. She has also worked extensively as a production manager, stage manager and technical coordinator for major festivals and events around Australia.
Jeanne is an audio junkie, driven to train the next generation of audio professionals to produce quality sound anywhere, anytime.
