The Adelaide College of the Arts Dance Program has me a holistic and industry-relevant three years of training. The studios and theatres are some of the best in Australia, and the lecturers are truly invested in the success of their students. My time at AC Arts gave me the skills and confidence to pursue a career as a dancer - to think creatively and to work hard with dedication and passion. From my experiences and industry connections gained at the college, I have been able to forge a varied and exciting career in the arts. Since graduating I have been fortunate to work for Australian choreographers both in SA and interstate, have developed my own choreographic practice, and have also sought various experiences and opportunities outside the usual ‘dance’ career path including:

• Gaia Dance Film (2014) currently being screening in film festivals around the world
• Water (2013) Choreographer and dancer. Performed at the Moving Music Festival, Adelaide
• Myth; a study of the female species (2011) Choreographer and dancer, Adelaide Season at Nexus Multicultural Arts
• Established the Mill Adelaide - an arts hub to over 47 artists with the Choreographic Futures Dance Residency
• Funded to travel to China (2013) to train in martial arts and tai chi and to take part in the Beijing Dance Festival, where I taught classes to students at LDTX Dance Company, Beijing
• Funded to travel to Sweden to work with ilDance and to develop a solo work at the Performing Arts Forum, Paris (Aug-Sept 2014)
