Live bronze sculpture pouring, dance performances, acting classes, fashion shows and CGI and game art design will be among the attractions on Sunday (August 17) when TAFE SA Adelaide College of Arts opens its doors to showcase its diverse artistic program.
Other attractions will include traditional letterpress, typesetting and stone lithography, 10x8" analogue film-based photography, fashion shows, and costume, fashion and footwear workshops.
Visitors will have the chance to tour the facilities, find out more about TAFE SA Adelaide College of the Arts courses, take part in and observe practical classes and demonstrations, meet the lecturers and ask questions.
Adelaide College of the Arts is the only tertiary institution in Australia housing the study of so many arts practices in one building.
This includes acting, dance, theatre design, costumes lighting, sound, TV/film, digital media, photography, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, fashion and jewellery.
Adelaide College of the Arts students are encouraged to take risks, innovate, hone their skills and collaborate across art forms and work closely with some of Australia’s leading arts companies.
